The REVISED Premiere of Nongoma Movie Trilogy: “Nongoma in Fast Forward”

Yesterday I prematurely unloaded 3 videos onto my blog. Today with some illegal audio remixing (Gorillaz, Belle & Sebastian, Weezer, and Flaming Lips) and a new video contribution transformed the trilology into a quad-rilogy.

“The Cows: Race for the Prize” 2 Mb
The first piece is in honor of the sacredness of the cows here in Nongoma. The setting is on a South African highway juxtaposed to a pastoral backdrop. Note the incredibly steady camera work for 2 minutes. Be wary of these beasts because the horns occasionally stick people in the wrong places as displayed by some Benedictine patients.

“The Nongoma Strip in 2 Minutes” 3 mb
This is my short version of my over budgeted “The Nongoma Strip in 15 minutes” version. The bloated budget with the innumerable unnecessary extras like Jude Law and Angelina Jolie forced me to make some directorial cuts. The 2 minute version is a satisfying taste of Nongoma’s “main road” and charming version of city life.

“Driving from the Gate to the Flat at Benedictine Hospital” 2 mb
This is the my “Return of the King” bit in the trilogy, capping the end of an incredible journey – through the initial gate of Benedictine Hospital to the final parking spot at the Doctors’ Flat. It will slow down and pick up in an instant, rewarding you with a mundane ending.

“Dr. Hla Tun’s Flat with My Stuff in It”
The titles speaks for itself and so do like Belle & Sebastian say- “Step into My Office, Baby.”
