People say that thugs play rugby and gentlemen watch rugby whereas gentleman play football (soccer) and thugs watch football.
I watched my first rugby game ever. SA, Australia, and New Zealand are fighting it out in the Tri-Nation Tournament. The SAs battled the Aussies in low scoring affair. Rugby is considered to be the national SA sport, but is predominantly white. Most blacks play football (my preferred sport or even American football), but the international rugby community is pushing for more colored participation.
Anyway it’s a brutal sport and I will stick to my Frisbee golf at home.
