No Depression, No SSRIs
Physicians seldom diagnosis any form of depression.  I have yet to see one patient go through Outpatient Department with a diagnosis of major depression.  Many would rather diagnosis psychosomatic disorder.  In other words, “it’s all in your head”.  I’m not sure this under-diagnosis of depression is the result of the medical profession and/or society’s misunderstandings of depression.
